Pre-K/EI Rider System Updates

On Thursday, June 7th, 2018, the summer 2018 Pre-K Rider System will be open. The Office of Pupil Transportation has made some minor changes to the Pre-K EI Rider System and Summer Pre-K EI Rider System. The first change you may notice, is that in the Pre-K/ EI Site Rider System, when you log into the system using your user name and password, there is a message entitled “Summer Address Change”. What you are being asked is do you intend to change your location for the summer session?” If you click on “yes”, you will be prompted to submit the anticipated address or location of your summer program and the date you expect to move. If the answer is “no”, you will click on “no” and click on submit and you will proceed to the rider system as usual/ normal.

The second change that you will notice on the screen is that under Site Information in the ribbon, we have added two new fields. One is called “Site Category” and the other is called “Program type.” In the site category field, it will be indicated if your site is a public or non-public school. In the Program type”, it will indicate that our records show that your program is either a 10 month or 12 month program. If all of the information is correct, you do nothing. If the information indicated is incorrect, you may change it by clicking on “edit school”, and edit or update the information as necessary.

Finally, on the “Rider Form Search” ribbon, under the “OSIS/ Student ID” category, if you are uncertain or do not know the child’s id number, but you know the last name of the child you may be looking for, you can put the last name of the child in the box below the “OSIS/ Student ID” and click on search and any child with that last name will appear below.

On June 7th, 2018, the summer 2018 Pre-K Rider System will be open.

Pre-K and EI site staff using the Pre-K/EI Rider System can begin updating rider information for the 2018 summer session beginning June 7th. Once rider information has been updated, bus vendors will receive updates and begin building bus routes for the summer session.
